(1) Resin

Resin is the film-forming substance, which is the most important component and basis in the coating, also known as the base material. It is the main factor that determines the properties of the coating film.

It is required that the resin as a film-forming substance is quite stable during the storage period of the coating, without obvious physical and chemical changes; during film formation, under the specified conditions, it can quickly cure to form a film.

There are many types of resins, and different resins have different physical and chemical properties, as well as weather resistance and corrosion resistance.

(2) Pigment

The pigment must be used in conjunction with the resin. The main function of the paint is to color the coating film. Different pigment ratios will affect the hardness, gloss and corrosion resistance of the coating film.

(3) Solvent

Solvent is an important part of liquid paint, and it is a volatile component during the drying process of paint. Solvents have a great influence on the manufacture, storage, coating, paint film formation and film quality of coatings.

(4) Additives

Additives are small amounts of additives added to improve coating performance. Additives are used in coatings in very small amounts, but have significant effects. Some can improve the performance of the coating and the coating film, some can improve the drying time, and some can prevent the coating film from becoming sick.
