Alloy Steel Coil
Alloy steel coil is steel to which small amounts of one or more alloying elements (other than carbon) have been added, such as manganese, silicon, nickel, titanium, copper, chromium and aluminum. This produces special properties not found in ordinary carbon steel. Alloy steels are the workhorses of the industry due to their economical cost, wide availability, ease of processing and good mechanical properties. Alloy steels are generally more sensitive to heat and mechanical treatments than carbon steels.

What is High Strength Low Alloy Steel?
High Strength Low Alloy (HSLA) steels are very strong, highly formable and easy to weld. HSLA steel is a carbon steel with small amounts of alloying elements added to its chemical composition. Adding these elements increases the strength, corrosion resistance and hardness of steel.
HSLA is a steel that is more resistant to corrosion and rust than carbon steel. HSLA steel is made according to specific mechanical properties rather than chemical composition and is extremely strong and tough. HSLA steel is used in cars, trucks, cranes, bridges and other structures that require a better strength-to-weight ratio.
