The stainless steel 304 pipe is made up of austenitic stainless steel that has 18% chromium and 8% nickel in its alloy. These metallic pipes have ASTM specifications and are in listed the range as A312 and A358. The range of the dimensions is also in accordance with ASME, ASTM, and API standards.
