Advantages of galvalume
The processing performance of galvanized steel sheet is similar to that of hot-dip galvanizing, which can fully meet the requirements of rolling, stamping, bending and other forms of processing.
2 Corrosion resistance
The test is based on the premise of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet and galvanized steel sheet with the same thickness, coating and surface treatment method. Galvalume has better corrosion resistance than hot-dip galvanized, and its service life is 2-6 times that of ordinary galvanized steel.
3Light reflection performance
The ability of galvanized steel to reflect heat and light is twice that of galvanized steel, and its reflectivity is greater than 0.70, which is better than the 0.65 specified by EPA Energy Star.
Defects of galvanized sheet:
1 Welding performance
Due to the increase in mechanical properties of galvanized zinc, the density of the inner substrate surface coating is relatively high, and the manganese content is relatively high. Therefore, galvanized zinc cannot be welded under ordinary welding conditions and can only be connected by other parties such as rivets. The hot-dip galvanized steel sheet performs well in welding, and there is no welding problem.
2 Applicability of tidal temperature concrete
The aluminum-zinc coating composition contains aluminum, which is prone to chemical reactions in direct contact with acidic wet concrete. Therefore, it is not very suitable for floor panels.
3 Coating thickness and steel plate thickness limit
Most of the domestic aluminum-zinc-plated production units are reformed from hot-dip galvanizing units, and there are certain restrictions on the thickness of the aluminum-zinc steel plates. The thickness of the steel plate is only limited to between 0.27 and 2.5. In terms of coating, it can only achieve a minimum of 30 grams per square meter and a maximum of 220 grams per square meter.
